Using this fact some HYIPs cover their end with invented DDoS attacks that helps them to mask a true reason of their program fault. There is no doubts that programs with a good DDoS protection are void of this possibility because their DDoS protection supplier can control it. So we decided to add a new icon on GoldPoll. From now all programs with active DDoS protection will be marked as "DDoS Protected" at the left column of the monitoring list. -- This week was made an announcement about bankruptcy of E-gold, a lot of forum's threads were created regarding this information. Later Mr. Douglas Jackson (chairman of E-gold) made the official disproof: "Beginning July 7, 2008 a fraudulent press release was sent to multiple online publication services claiming that e-gold Ltd. and Gold & Silver Reserve, Inc. had filed for bankruptcy. The announcement was a fraud and did not come from either company or anyone associated with either company. Concurrent with the fraudulent press release there have also been intermittent denial-of-service attacks against the e-gold.com website, probably originating from the same perpetrator. An investigation is underway seeking to discover the source of both this malicious misinformation and the denial of service attacks." -- Today the website of Liberty Reserve is inaccessible. This is the second downtime of LR during this week, but this time there is no official statement from their team regarding this situation. We found on one forum that somebody had contacted the support of LR and had got their reply: "the support department is working on this situation, we are upgrading our servers". This information isn't reliable, of course. -- Do you have an account on Traders Festival HYIP? This week we received a complaint from one member of this program. He reported to us that he had not been able to get his profits. He said that he had requested for withdrawal but it was cancelled and the admin didn't reply him. -- Due to the frequent blocking of egold accounts, the admin of AgaGold announced that their members (who used E-gold for investment) could withdraw their profits through Liberty Reserve without any fee for exchange. As you remember E-gold had been removed from the e-currencies acceptable list of Trade Board HYIP few weeks ago but this week the opportunity to use E-gold for investing/withdrawal was returned by the admin. -- Tradelite HYIP admin made the next annoucement: "As requested by members of our platform, we present to you another nice feature which is already available. Depending on your Privacy Settings, you can now stay in touch with the person who invited you to open an account with Tradelite and at the same time you can stay in touch with people you invite. All current accounts have been set by default to allow to be contacted. Your email addresses will, however, remain private during the next 5 days, during which you can update your Privacy Settings available in the Invitation Program section within your account." -- Domain of LevelInside HYIP is changed. The new address of their website you'll find on their Details page: http://www.goldpoll.com/details/11850/ -- Program's admins attract investors by various ways such as stable payments, solid reputation, using of referral system, etc. But some of them tries to attract an attention to their program by using FAKE banners on the "RateUs" page. They put such banners with an incorrect/wrong program status (frequently with the "WAITING" status). For example, such scam activity was discovered on the website of WorldTradeFund HYIP. This program was marked as problematic HYIP because the admin didn't pay. The admin was notified about the status' change, but he decided to add fake banner with the "Waiting" status instead of resolving of the problem. Therefore we recommend to check out the status of any program on your favourite rating sites or you can use our ToolBar. This service gives you an opportunity to see the current program status of the program with no need to search different sites for such information. -- An improvement of service has been made on Estrella Funds HYIP.
